What is Hemp?

Short for Cannabidiol, Hemp is a one of the dozens of cannabinoids naturally found in the industrial hemp and cannabis plants. It’s a non-intoxicating compound that offers therapeutic value for a wide range of whole-body uses.

What is the difference between marijuana and hemp?

Both marijuana and industrial hemp come from the same plant family, Cannabis Sativa. The key difference between the two is the concentration of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) — the intoxicating cannabinoid that produces a euphoric effect.

Marijuana has high amounts of THC and low amounts of Hemp. Conversely, hemp has higher amounts of Hemp and trace amounts of THC.

Is Hemp legal?

Yes. In 2018, the U.S. Farm Bill legalized the commercial cultivation and consumption of industrial hemp-derived Hemp (containing no more than 0.3% THC) in all 50 states. While federally legal, each state has its own regulations about the sale of hemp-based products so we advise researching the legal status of Hemp in your state.

Will Hemp get me high?

No. Hemp is non-intoxicating and all our hemp-derived products contain THC levels below 0.3% (within the federal legal limit), so there’s no “high” or euphoric effect associated with our Hemp dominant cannabis products.

Will I pass the drug test if I take Hemp?

While it’s highly unlikely for our hemp-derived Hemp products to show up on a drug test, we advise our consumers to take the product at their own risk since trace amounts of THC can show up on drug screenings.

What’s the best way to take Hemp?

FLY Hemp products are available in a variety of forms. We offer Hemp oil, which is best consumed sublingually—by placing droplets under the tongue. We also offer Hemp edibles, Hemp topicals, Hemp tinctures, Hemp soft gels and more.

How much Hemp should I take?
Hemp metabolizes differently, so it’s difficult to set a predetermined measurement that suits everyone.
We believe in holistically treating the body, listen to your body to adjust the dosages. Start small and increase your dose as needed.
How do I store Hemp products?

For the best shelf life, store in a cool place with low humidity and out of direct sunlight. This helps preserve the therapeutic value of hemp extracts. If stored properly, FLY Hemp products can have up to 1 year shelf life.
